Private individuals and midsize companies often own a Synology or QNAP network storage (NAS / Network Attached Storage) to use it as network storage within the company. This would become redundant when migrating to SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business or Azure Storage. Outside, Microsoft Teams is the top topic and in many companies the tool is also seen as an adoption excelerator or as the communication tool for 2019. But if we look deeper into the processes and the companies of our community, we see that Microsoft Flow and PowerApps are the real heroes. They connect places, people, files or even rooms with users so quickly and easily that the user doesn’t need much time or programming knowledge.
In small environments up to 25 users, the allocation of licenses in a Microsoft 365 environment may still be feasible, but then you should look for other ways to automate licensing at best. This should also work in a hybrid context so that we IT admins have less work to do. But let’s take a closer look at this:
